Bottled Moments: A Napa Chapter in Connection

When you live a life rooted in experience, every detail matters, who you’re with, how you arrive, the way the sun hits the table, the sound of laughter wrapped in music, the feeling of sparkling stillness in your chest after a sip of something cold and earned.

This wasn’t just a girls' trip to Napa. This was a deliberate pause after a night of gratitude and generosity at High Mark Distillery’s private investor barrel event where Jimmy Weber’s guitar echoed across the Nevada night, where hospitality became a language of love, and where every guest felt seen.

We carried that energy west.

We arrived in wine country not to “wine taste,” but to celebrate one another - our work, our connection, our joy. We gathered under the oak trees at Chandon, with Jimmy still playing acoustic and new friends like Benji and Owen joining in. There were bubbles, of course, but there was also story, spontaneity, surprise. Servers became singers. Managers became musicians. Wine became memory.

No two vineyards we visited were the same. That was the point. Each experience was handpicked to tell its own story crafted and layered like a well-aged red. I called ahead, every time. I made sure our names meant something before we ever walked through the door. And before we stepped into that car to begin, I handed everyone a wine journal an invitation to document not just the wines, but how we felt drinking them.

At every stop, I left behind an autographed copy of my book. Not because I had to. Because I believe in marking moments. That experiences, when shared, ripple.

And I hope every person who was part of this weekend walked away feeling transformed. I hope they remember how the air felt, how they laughed, what they wore, and who was sitting next to them. I hope they felt alive and worthy of being surrounded by beauty and ease.
