Fall is here, and my calendar looks like a game of Tetris.

The boys are in soccer.Audrina is in two shows and has four dance classes a week.Weekends are packed with games, vocal performances, and rehearsals. And somewhere in the middle of it all, I went back to dance too.

Life is busy. Scratch that, life is fizzy.

It’s buzzing, bubbling, sparkling with activity. And if I’m honest, sometimes it feels like too much.

Here’s the danger: when life gets fizzy, we tend to just move through the motions. Carpool to practice. Sit through the performance. Pack up the snacks. But experiences aren’t built in autopilot.

The reality? These are the moments that matter most. The sideline cheers. The stage makeup. The after-dance car rides where stories spill out. These are the memories my kids and I will carry forever.

And it’s no different in business.

When things get hectic, quarter-end, launches, deadlines. it’s easy to forget the client, the team member, the human. But it’s exactly then when we need to stop, look up, and create core memories.

Because if we don’t, the season will pass, and all we’ll have is a blur of “busy.”

But if we capture the moments now, if we’re intentional about experiences, we’ll have something that outlasts the season: loyalty, connection, joy.

Whether it’s family or business, don’t just survive the busy. Create the memory.
